In this video, I present how you can run an engaging ebanking experience in your browser, using the Adobe Flex framework and the Flash Player, but also on smartphones. I showcase my vision demo on the Google Nexus One and on the Apple’s phone. I’ve designed five experiences: an interactive login screen, a menu with tiles, an interactive dashboard to check the health of my current account, an interactive simulator to define my monthly savings, and a messaging client. I’ve used pure ActionScript 3 code to run it on my Google Nexus One phone (using a prerelease version of the Flash Player), and the preview of the iPhone packager to test the experience on my Apple’s phone. I guess the Flash Platform could be a strategic choice, as this experience wil be available on Android, Palm, Blackberries, Windows Mobile 7 and Nokia smartphones.
